You Need a Partner, Not a Technology Vendor

“Today You Need A Partner,
Not Just a Technology Vendor”

Your Caddie Corps Is an Extension of  Your Business, Contributing Substantially to the Member Experience

I was recently thinking about a bad interaction I had with the so-called “customer service representative” for an enterprise software service I currently use.  The software subscription service I was calling about was cheap at $12.99/month and designed to provide a communications and sales management platform that helps me communicate and track thousands of customers, contacts, and connections.  This type of software is crucial to all businesses in 2020 and a service that saves likely hundreds of hours per year previously spent with spreadsheets, emails, and various other tools.  But, when I decided to “invest” in this technology last year, I was, as you say, “penny wise, pound foolish.”

The Caddie Corps Becomes an Extention of Your Business When Managed Correctly

Like many of us, I was enticed by the “buy it now” monthly subscription cost.  I was not thinking about how crucial these services would be to my success as a company nor how important it would later be to speak with an actual customer service rep rather than an automated recording.  I made a decision based on short-term financial criteria.  I bought technology from a vendor, rather than going with other slightly more expensive partners that were not just looking for my dollars. As it turns out, instead of a one-size-fits-all plug-and-play vendor, I needed a troubleshooter – someone seeking a better understanding of my business, positioned to help me solve problems together.

What’s the difference between a Partner and a Vendor? You know of several examples in your daily life, similar to my story above. Your world is full of low-priced, high-volume, quick turnaround vendors looking to offer “low prices,” “turn-key products,” and the ability to “save time.”  I don’t know about you, but anytime I see ads for these products, I now know what I’m getting myself into;  Cheap technology with little to no warranty or support to back it up.

Vendors provide you with something designed to make money quickly and likely designed to meet some of your baseline concerns or needs.  Partners invest in a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership with you, ready and willing to engage where it is most needed.

As an industry, we are in the customer service business. As your partner, CaddieNow is committed to helping you deliver the customer experiences your members and guests expect, at levels some are not aware are even possible. Because we understand the potential impact of every customer touchpoint (good and bad), we elevate your caddie corps into playing an active role in your overall member’s satisfaction. As such, and unlike other platforms, our support goes far beyond the Caddie Program. As your partner, together we build and maintain a communication infrastructure providing your staff with insights into detailed customer expectations.

Ultimately, the more we know about our customers, the easier it is to provide better customer experiences. And while businesses can adopt technology to gain efficiencies and gather more data points on their target customers, it is still the human element that ensures that the lasting impressions on the member are positive.
