Two prestigious courses enhance existing caddie programs to reflect premium member experiences

Haymarket, VA (June 27, 2019) – CaddieNow, the nation’s most trusted caddie program, has announced partnerships with Country Club of the Rockies in Edwards, Colorado, and Stock Farm Club in Hamilton, Montana. The ability to provide members with the rewarding experience of taking a caddie led both courses to partner with CaddieNow.

Country Club of the Rockies, a Nicklaus signature, situated in the Vail Valley, has had an existing caddie program since the course opened in 1984, but needed help maintaining caddies and using technology to book and monitor caddie rounds. CaddieNow has customized a program for Country Club of the Rockies to support orientations, certifications, and recruiting, as well as member and community communications.

“We have a strong desire to enhance our brand and feel, and having a quality caddie program protects the club’s status as an elite, high-end private golf club,” said the club’s General Manager Bill Hughes, who has been involved in the development and management of caddie programs at private clubs across the country for decades. “There is one common theme in determining the success or failure of a club operating at this level—the sustainability of a rich and robust caddie program.”

Stock Farm, located in Montana’s Bitterroot Valley, has used caddies since 1999. The Tom Fazio course partnered with CaddieNow in May, transitioning its existing caddie program to a more robust offering featuring Concierge (a CaddieNow feature that allows staff to access caddies and members via push, text, or email notifications). CaddieNow is also assisting in transitioning existing caddies into true independent contractors, a move that protects the course and allows caddies the flexibility to accept loops when they are available.

“Stock Farm is a unique and special place. We pride ourselves on the many offerings available to members, including hiking, hunting, tennis, canoeing, and more,” said Stock Farm’s Director of Golf Gary Nye. “We know that the greatest experience members have on the golf course is with a caddie; we value this interaction and want to make sure the member is getting the best experience. CaddieNow gives us all the tools and guidance we need to make sure our members get the best caddies in Montana.”

“Both Country Club of the Rockies and Stock Farm know caddies are an integral part of the club culture and, when a caddie program functions flawlessly, members adore the course and its leadership,” said CaddieNow’s CEO and Founder Dave Cavossa. “We partner with our clubs at all levels to ensure that they reap the incredible benefits of a premier caddie program backed by exceptional service and technology.”
